Occupational Therapy

At Adaptive Path Learning Collective, occupational therapy helps children develop the skills they need to participate confidently in everyday activities. Our occupational therapists support children in building independence through play, movement, sensory integration, self-care, fine motor development, emotional regulation, and daily routines that promote success both in and out of the classroom.

Because occupational therapy is fully integrated into our preschool environment, children practice these skills throughout their day rather than only during scheduled therapy sessions. Whether learning to use utensils during mealtime, strengthening fine motor skills through art activities, navigating sensory experiences, or participating in group play, children receive support in meaningful, real-world situations that encourage lasting growth.

Our occupational therapists work collaboratively with BCBAs, speech-language pathologists, educators, and families to create individualized goals that reflect each child's unique strengths and developmental needs. This multidisciplinary approach ensures that strategies are consistent across settings, helping children build confidence while improving their ability to engage with peers, complete daily tasks, and explore their environment.

We believe every child deserves the opportunity to participate fully in the activities that matter most. By partnering closely with families and integrating occupational therapy into each child's daily experiences, we help children develop the skills, confidence, and independence they need to thrive at home, at school, and within their community.

At Adaptive Path, occupational therapy is about more than developing skills. It’s about empowering children to engage with the world around them with confidence, curiosity, and joy.
