Speech Therapy
At Adaptive Path Learning Collective, speech therapy is designed to help children communicate with confidence, connection, and purpose. Our speech-language pathologists work closely with each child to support the communication skills they need for everyday life, including expressive language, receptive language, social communication, articulation, play-based communication, and alternative or augmentative communication when appropriate.
Because our program is built around an integrated preschool model, speech therapy does not happen in isolation. Children have opportunities to practice communication throughout the day during play, classroom routines, peer interactions, mealtimes, transitions, and collaborative learning experiences. This helps children use new skills in meaningful, natural ways—not just during a therapy session.
Our speech therapists collaborate with BCBAs, occupational therapists, educators, and families to create individualized goals that reflect each child’s strengths, needs, and developmental stage. Whether a child is learning to request, answer questions, follow directions, expand language, engage with peers, or use a communication device, our team works together to support progress across every environment.
We also partner closely with parents and caregivers, providing guidance and strategies that help children generalize communication skills at home, at school, and in the community.
At Adaptive Path, speech therapy is more than building words—it is about helping each child find their voice, connect with others, and participate more fully in the world around them.
