Our Approach
Children learn best when they get to be children.
Adaptive Path is a preschool-based program for children with autism ages 2–6 in Cedar Park, Texas, serving families throughout Cedar Park, Leander, Georgetown, Liberty Hill, Round Rock, North Austin, and surrounding communities.
Here, education and therapy aren't separate parts of the day. Our teachers, BCBAs, RBTs, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapy professionals work together within a true preschool environment, supporting children as they play, learn, communicate, build relationships, and navigate everyday routines.
Rather than teaching skills in isolation, we use the natural opportunities childhood gives us: playing with a friend, joining a classroom activity, asking for help, trying something new, or moving through a transition. These situations present themselves everyday and help us teach meaningful skills that carry into real life.
Every child receives individualized support based on their strengths, needs, and way of communicating, while remaining part of a classroom community designed for learning, connection, movement, and joy.
Because therapy should support childhood, not replace it.

Adaptive Path was created so children with autism don't have to choose between receiving the support they need and experiencing childhood as preschoolers.
We bring education, ABA, speech, and occupational therapy together in one collaborative environment, meeting each child where they are and helping them build the communication, independence, relationships, and confidence to participate more fully in their world.
Every child's path will look different. Our job is to help them find theirs.
Meet the Founders
Jenna and Haley first met many years ago as graduate students at Texas Tech University (Wreck ‘Em!). Though they began their careers in different states and settings, they share a passion for creating the highest achievable quality of care and a desire to do good in their community. As women (and moms!) in business they believe they have cultivated a space where caregivers can confidently send their children, knowing they will be supported in every possible way.

Co-FounderHaley was born in Boston and practiced in Massachusetts and California before settling down in the great state of Texas. She has spent the majority of her career working in early intervention and speech or behavior clinics supporting the communication needs of children with autism. Haley firmly believes in the presumption of competence, access to learning, and that every child deserves to be heard — in whatever way works best for them. Additional trainings include: SOS Approach to Feeding (sequential-oral-sensory), Beckman Oral Motor I and II.

Co-FounderJenna was born and raised in Texas before heading to the mountains of Tennessee where she spent the first decade of her career. Thus far Jenna’s clinical practice has centered on cognition, dysphagia and voice rehabilitation. Additional trainings include NMES certification for oral and pharyngeal rehabilitation, Resistive Breather, and MBSS.
